Hunter Bond is the founder and owner of HC Bond Construction, a residential construction company serving central Alabama with custom homes, remodels and secondary structures. Since launching the company Hunter has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, trusted reliability and clear communication.

After many years working for another builder, seeing just about every aspect of residential construction, Hunter decided to chase his dream of starting his own residential construction business. HC being not only his initials, but also the initials of his two children remind him daily of why he does what he does.

Hunter is directly involved in every project, guiding clients from initial planning to final walk-through with a disciplined, detail driven approach. Hunter's commitment to integrity, professionalism and long-term relationships defines both his leadership and the projects he completes.

Jess Dowd is our in-house designer helping clients navigate the building and design process with clarity and confidence every step of the way. She has extensive experience in renovations and new-build personalization, she understands how important it is to create homes that are both beautiful and functional for real life.

From selecting finishes to refining layouts and details, Jess works closely with each client throughout the entire build to ensure their home reflects their vision, lifestyle, and long-term well-being. Her thoughtful, hands-on approach helps simplify decisions and makes the design process feel enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

John Mcmahon is Hunter's foreman. John's responsibilities range from jobsite cleanup, checking the progress of each project and being as hands on as needed during the course of each build. John comes from a background in commercial shoreline construction in South Florida and is a valuable team member playing a huge role in our success.
